Overview
The REM is a compact yet comprehensive out-of-band management solution for WAN edge and branch offices. Delivering all the benefits of a next-gen terminal server and intelligent PDU, the REM also adds dual gigabit Ethernet LAN redundancy and 4G failover for internet backup connection on dual WAN routers, in a small form factor ideal for cabinets, kiosks and enclosures.
When network devices lock up or become unresponsive the REM provides secure out-of-band access to console ports and power reboot capabilities, allowing admins to remotely troubleshoot issues and restore internet connections from anywhere without a truck roll or service call. Applications requiring always-available resilient network connectivity and proactive monitoring and remediation can use WTI DevOps integration to provide telemetric data acquisition and network automation responses to network disruptions.
