1. Does the FTM or MEM have Dial Back Security?
No. Neither of these units supports Dial Back Security. For more information on Dial Back Security, please read about our SRM-100 Secure Rack Modem.
2. Does the FTM or MEM include password protection to restrict access to attached equipment?
No. Neither the FTM nor the MEM support this feature. For more information, please read about our SRM-100 Secure Rack Modem.
3. Can the FTM or MEM unit be programmed remotely?
Yes. When the modem answers, enter the escape code %%%ATMTSMODEM and then press Enter. Refer to Section 3.3.3 in the MEM User's Guide or FTM User's Guide for further instructions. Refer to Section 4 in either User's Guide for information regarding AT commands.
