WTI's NPS-8H20-ATS-1 network power switch PDU with automatic transfer switching is the perfect solution for critical network installations needing remote power control and power supply redundancy on 120V AC equipment. Just connect the power cable of your switches, routers, firewalls or any other network device directly to the power outlets of the NPS-8H20-ATS-1 and you're ready for complete remote power on, off or reboot control plus automatic power transfer switching.
The NPS-8H20-ATS-1 includes a robust selection of security and monitoring features, including event and temperature alarms, to help minimize angry support calls and accidental shutdowns.
Automatic Transfer Switching
The NPS-8H20-ATS-1 has a built in power transfer switch for automatic fallback of supplied power. Any single power supply device can now have the redundancy of two power sources. The NPS-ATS powers all (8) outlets through the primary input power supply with the ability to automatically transfer the power load of all (8) outlets to the secondary line. Should the primary power supply line fail the NPS-ATS will detect the failure and switch to a secondary power supply line in less than 16 milliseconds.
Reboot Local & Remote Equipment!
Servers, routers, and other electronic equipment sometimes "lock-up," often requiring a service call to a remote site just to flip the power switch to perform a simple reboot. The NPS-8H20-ATS-1 gives you the ability to remote reboot and remote power cycle equipment from anywhere; just point your browser to the IP address of any NPS-8H20-ATS-1 unit, enter the secure user name and password, and you're just a click away from remote power On, Off or Reboot!
Approved for Red Hat Cluster Suite
Easy to Configure, Easy to Use
The NPS-8H20-ATS-1 can be configured via SSH or SNMP, or locally via the serial console port. Easy to master, user-friendly menus and commands allow you assign a location name, set system parameters and view plug status. Outlets can be switched on, off, rebooted or set to user-defined default status using plug numbers or names.
Versatile Alarm Functions for Automatic Reboot and Power Switching
In addition to performing on-demand reboots and power switching, the NPS-8H20-ATS-1 also includes an assortment of administrator-defined alarm features, which can be used to automatically reboot or switch outlets when high rack temperatures, open circuit breakers, power supply irregularities, unresponsive network elements and other important events and factors are detected. When any of these alarm functions are triggered, the NPS-8HD20-1 can also provide notification via email, SNMP trap or SYSLOG message. Each alarm includes a configuration menu that can be used to customize alarm triggers and response actions to fit the requirements of your specific application.
Security and Co-Location
Access to the NPS-8H20-ATS-1 command mode is password protected to prevent unauthorized users from invoking sensitive switching and configuration functions. Both the Web Browser Interface and Command Line Interface require the user to enter a password and username before allowing access.
The NPS-8H20-ATS-1 also features four different levels of user accounts; Administrator Level, Super User Level, User Level and View Only Level. Administrators are allowed access to all configuration and operational commands. Super Users are allowed to direct switching commands to any outlet and can view configuration menus, but are not allowed to change configuration parameters. User accounts are allowed to invoke switching commands, but are limited to the switched outlets that are specifically defined for the user account. View Only level accounts are allowed to display NPS status screens, but are not allowed to invoke switching commands or configuration commands.

TheNPS-8H20-ATS-1 is built in the USA and backed by a five year warranty. WTI products are installed in thousands of network sites worldwide. Our customers know they can depend on WTI for superior quality and reliability for their most mission-critical operations.
Includes Enterprise Management Software
All WTI console server and switched PDU products include WTI’s convenient Enterprise Management Software, which drastically simplifies the task of managing multiple WTI devices spread throughout your network infrastructure. The WMU Enterprise Management Software provides a centralized command interface that allows administrators to easily manage, label and control multiple WTI console servers and switched PDUs in large network applications, reducing the time required to access console port command and power control and reboot functions for connected devices.
Once installed on your PC or laptop, the WMU Enterprise Management Software can search a user-defined IP address range on your network and discover all WTI console servers and switched PDUs within the range. Discovered units are then added to the Enterprise Management Software’s inventory, allowing administrators to assign a descriptive tag to each WTI device in order to denote the location or function of the device. In addition to providing a centralized interface for remote console port access and power reboot and control functions, the Enterprise Management Software can also be used to control firmware updates for WTI products and edit and manage user accounts at individual or multiple WTI devices.
