WTI is pleased to announce a major feature upgrade for our Device Management Utility. The Device Management Utility, or DMU, is a convenient, multi-unit management application, which is included with our TSM, RSM, MPC and AFS-16-1 series products. Three powerful new features have been added to the DMU:
- Centralized Power Switching - Manage Power & Reboot Switching for Multiple WTI Units from a Single Interface
- Centralized A/B Switching - Control A/B Switching at Multiple AFS-16-1 Fallback Switches

WTI is proud to announce the release of our new MPC-HD Series Switched PDUs. The MPC-HD Series is specifically designed to provide secure, remote power control and reboot capabilities for high amp devices such as Sun Blade 6000, Cisco Catalyst 6500 LAN Switches, Cisco Nexus 7000 Data Center Switches and HP 7000 Blade Servers. There are many different products on the market that allow remote power control, but WTI's MPC-HD is the only one specifically designed to both deliver AND switch high amp power.
The new MPC-HD series includes four different models to fit your high amp power switching needs:
MPC-HD16H - Dual 16 Amp Inputs, 2U, 200V - 240V AC, (6) IEC C19 + (6) IEC C13 Outlets

This year, as a part of our annual company Thanksgiving celebration, WTI employees participated in a Can Castle Food Drive to benefit the Orange County Rescue Mission.
The Orange County Rescue Mission is a local non-profit organization that provides food and housing to the less fortunate here in Orange County. In addition to providing meals for the disadvantaged, the Orange County Rescue Mission also sponsors a network of temporary housing accommodations, rehabilitation facilities, and health clinics. Unlike some larger, nationwide charitable organizations, the vast majority of the money and food that is donated to the OC Rescue Mission goes directly to the needy, with comparatively little spent on administrative costs or overhead.

Our MPC series Rack-Mountable, Switched PDUs are now certified for use with Avocent® DSView® 3; the premier software solution for secure, browser-based data center management. You can still use the MPC's native command interface and our DMU Device Management Utility to control and manage the MPC, but now the MPC can also be easily integrated into any data center management program that relies on Avocent DSView 3.
The MPC Plug-In allows you to use DSView 3 to perform the following tasks:
- Display MPC Current, Voltage and Power Information
- Display On/Off Status and Control (On/Off/Boot) Status for Each Plug
- Display Power Supply Status
- Configure SNMP Read/Write Communities and Trap Destinations ...

WTI has sponsored Keller Peak Fire Lookout through the Adopt-A-Lookout program sponsored by the San Bernardino National Forest Association (SBNFA). The sponsorship supports the Fire Lookout Host program managed by the SBNFA, helping to keep seven historic towers across the San Bernardino National Forest staffed and in good repair to continue to spot fires and educate visitors to the local communities and National Forest.
