Remote Reboot 8700 Watt Catalyst 6500 Power Supply
The CCM Remote Relay Control unit provides an ideal solution for applications that require remote reboot and power switching capabilities for 8700 Watt Catalyst 6500 Power Supplies. When the CCM Remote Relay Control unit is connected to the dry contact relays on the Cisco 8700 Watt Power Supply, administrators and tech support personnel can remotely reboot the power supply via simple ASCII commands and user-friendly web-based menus. The CCM Remote Relay Controller can be operated via Web, Telnet, SSH or HTTPS; and if the primary network connection is unavailable, the CCM can also be rebooted or switched using commands sent via secondary network or dial-up PSTN connection.
Supports Both IPv4 and IPv6
In order to prepare for the upcoming switchover to IPv6 protocol, all WTI Remote Relay Control Units now provide full support for both IPv4 and IPv6 (the intended successor to IPv4.) This helps to ensure that WTI Remote Relay Control Units purchased today will be fully compatible with the planned IPv6 internet environment, and will not be rendered obsolete when the IPv6 protocol eventually becomes the new worldwide standard for network communications.
